It was a nice day at our school that we were having our first graduation after all  finishing grade 7 , that was 24th September 2011.

Stacey called me in a classroom and told me I was going to a trip to America. This sounded like a dream but it was true. I loved it and I was the happiest man in the world. It would be my first big step for Gideon to step on the huge international plane and the United States of America.

The next day I started packing and first we went for the visas in Dar es salaam. We were on that mission for three days. After I got my visa and passport I was more than happy. I was really waiting for the day to come. After that we went to Nairobi where we were going to get the plane to America. The next morning we were leaving I was more than happy especially when I got my foot on the plane. We first went to Istanbul for the first flight then to New York. it was 10 and a half hours to get there I couldn’t wait to set my eyes in New York.

We arrived in New york safely and we got there we were welcomed by Stacey and Sanjay with thousands of hugs it was the best flight ever.

Always remember: JUST SHOOT FOR THE MOON EVEN IF YOU MISS IT YOU WILL LAND AMONG THE STARS.

We went for a rest and we slept. I was so glad for how the next morning would it be. The next good bright morning came and for the first time I had cereals.  after that we went out for a walk and we had some lunch. The best meal I had and was Chicken paillard. I also had a chocolate cake it was too sweet too.

The next day it was much different, we went to the natural word history museum and we saw a dinosaur skeleton.

Then we went to a butterfly conservatory where butterflies are kept for showings. It was a cool place to study.
